Follow the wire harness up. 800's had horrible wire harness issues. Otb powersports for any replacements.

Put a little fuel starter in inlet to carb (remove air cleaner, spray a few seconds, place filter back on then try starting). Even if the engine is shot, it should start, it'll either sound ok or will make loud banging sounds. Best of luck, I give it 50/50 odds, could be ok. Don't give up yet.

If you do then you know your ignition is working. If you do have a spark then pour some gas down the cylander and put back plug and see if it fires.
